PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – A Hernando County murder suspect has been arrested in Putnam County.
On Tuesday, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office deputies received information from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office regarding Reynol Gonzalez Jr, who was possibly hiding out in Putnam County. Gonzalez was wanted for murder in Hernando County.
“Our deputies immediately picked up the trail and were able to determine where Gonzalez was staying and what he may be driving,” said Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
While deputies were formulating a plan to approach the residence, PCSO deputies spotted him driving in the area. A felony traffic stop was initiated and Gonzalez was taken into custody without incident.
Gonzalez is currently in the Putnam County Jail awaiting extradition back to Hernando County.
