The charges result from an intensive investigation by the Tampa Police Department into a prior incident in their jurisdiction.
Following the arrest, Hudson was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center for booking. He will remain in custody there until arrangements are finalized for his transfer to Hillsborough County to face these charges.
School district officials have been notified of the arrest. Hudson has been placed on administrative leave pending the results of the legal proceedings and is barred from returning to the Endeavor/Discovery Academy campus.
