Missing-Endangered Woman Last Seen In Weeki Wachee, Found Safe In Pasco County

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Valerie Harriet Welsh has been located and is safe, according to Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office was requesting assistance from our media partners and the community in locating a MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT.

Valerie Harriet Welsh left her son’s home on Snowy Egret Avenue in Weeki Wachee between the hours of 6:10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. She left a note stating she was going to stay at a hotel tonight.

The family noted Welsh recently made a concerning statement and is showing early signs of dementia.

Welsh left the residence in a 2015 Gray Honda Civic EX-L bearing Florida tag/17BKEK. Law enforcement has been unable to locate Welsh.
