Hidden Camera In Bedroom Leads To Felony Arrest Of Florida Man

A Florida man is facing a felony charge of digital voyeurism after his former partner discovered a hidden camera recording inside her bedroom. Sinturious Wright, 49, was taken into custody by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on April 9 following a two-month investigation into the incident.

The investigation began in February when the victim, who shares three children with Wright, contacted authorities to report a disturbing find.

According to police reports, the woman was in her bedroom when she heard a voice emanating from a shelf.

Upon closer inspection, she discovered a Ring camera tucked away behind another object, positioned so that only the lens remained exposed. The victim informed investigators that she immediately recognized the voice coming from the device as belonging to Wright.

The couple had ended their relationship in February 2025. Records indicate that shortly before the camera was discovered, the victim allowed Wright into her home so he could assemble a toy for one of their children. Wright was reportedly left alone in the residence during that time.

During the course of the investigation, Wright agreed to meet with detectives and provided them with video footage he had obtained from the device.

The Ring camera was set to record based on motion, and the recovered footage confirmed the victim was being recorded without her knowledge or consent. Wright now faces a felony count of digital voyeurism in connection with the secret recordings.
