High-Speed Intersection Collision Leaves New Port Richey Teen Motorcyclist Dead

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A pre-dawn crash in Pasco County claimed the life of a 19-year-old motorcyclist Sunday morning after a pickup truck turned into his path.

According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 4:30 AM on April 19, 2026. A 33-year-old man from Holiday was driving a Ford F-150 northbound on Industrial Boulevard.

At the same time, a 19-year-old New Port Richey man was heading eastbound on Anclote Boulevard on a Kawasaki motorcycle.

State troopers noted that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed as it approached the intersection. As the driver of the Ford F-150 attempted to make a left turn, he moved directly into the path of the oncoming Kawasaki. The motorcycle struck the pickup truck within the intersection.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but the motorcyclist had already succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. The driver of the F-150 was not injured in the collision.

The Florida Highway Patrol has not released the names of the individuals involved as the investigation into the specific mechanics of the crash continues. Traffic in the area of Industrial and Anclote Boulevards was impacted for several hours while investigators processed the scene.
