For anyone checking this and wondering when the water will be back on: I just called the number listed in the article. They said while they don’t have specific updates for this incident, in a best-case scenario, this type of fix takes 6-8 hours; with some complications, it might take 8-10 hours; and worst case, it shouldn’t take more than 15 hours. That’s total, and the water’s been off since shortly after 5 pm. So, translation: best case, it’ll be back between about 11 pm and 1 am. With some complications, it could be between 1 and 3. And worst case, the outage shouldn’t last later than about 8 am. Hope that helps someone out there!
