PLANT CITY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two adults found inside a Plant City home on Wednesday morning.
Deputies responded to a call for service in the 2900 block of James Melvin Drive at 11:37 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located a deceased adult male and a deceased adult female.
Detectives remained at the scene throughout the afternoon to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Officials have not released the names of the individuals or a cause of death.
According to the sheriff’s office, there is no immediate danger to the surrounding community. In a statement, the agency noted that “all individuals believed to be involved have been accounted for, and there is no known threat to the public.”
The sheriff’s office stated that the investigation remains active and ongoing.
