TAMPA, Fla. – A Tampa man faces nine felony charges after detectives served a search warrant at a residence on Pecos Way on Friday, August 7, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives executed the warrant on the 300 block of Pecos Way as part of an ongoing firearms investigation. During the search, investigators seized multiple firearms, various types of ammunition, and narcotics.
Allen Greenidge Jr., 23, was arrested following the search. His charges include three counts of importing, distributing, selling, or possessing a bump-fire stock—specifically internal “incognito” machine gun conversion devices—and one count of possession of an operable machine gun involving a Smith and Wesson M&P.
Greenidge was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm regarding an American Tactical .223/556 rifle and a Smith and Wesson M&P handgun, felon in possession of ammunition, armed possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver, and owning, leasing, or renting a property for the purpose of trafficking, selling, or manufacturing a controlled substance.
In addition to the firearm and drug offenses, Greenidge faces charges for probation violations stemming from previous cases of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and domestic battery by strangulation.
