HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – In a move designed to enhance community safety and improve operational efficiency, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has unveiled a new, centralized system for residents to report traffic-related concerns. The HCSO Traffic Services Bureau will now be the sole point of contact for all traffic complaints, with a new online form serving as the primary method for submission.

Effective immediately, residents can access the streamlined form via the HCSO public website, located under the “Services” tab in the “Traffic” category. The user-friendly online process allows community members to easily report issues ranging from speeding and reckless driving to other neighborhood traffic safety concerns. Each submission is automatically tracked, ensuring that every complaint is properly logged and addressed by the appropriate personnel.

“Our deputies are committed to ensuring the safety of every road in Hillsborough County,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This new system makes it easier for residents to share their concerns directly with our Motor Unit supervisors so we can take swift and effective action.”

The online tool is a key component of HCSO’s broader initiative to improve communication and responsiveness to community needs. For residents who may not have access to a computer or need assistance, any HCSO employee is able to help by submitting a complaint on their behalf.

The HCSO encourages all residents to use the new online portal to report traffic issues, which will help deputies prioritize and deploy resources more effectively. For more information or to file a traffic complaint, residents can visit teamhcso.com, select “Services,” and then “Traffic Complaint.”
