HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 has released its lane closure summary for Hillsborough County, warning commuters to expect significant delays and disruptions on major highways and local roads throughout the week of November 9–15, 2025.
Work spans high-volume interstates, critical bridges, and arterial roads, with many projects requiring nighttime or multi-day closures.
Major Interstate and Bridge Closures
Drivers should prepare for nightly impacts on the region’s main traffic arteries:
- I-75: Multiple sections are scheduled for nightly lane closures from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. This includes the stretch from Harney Road to the Tampa Bay Bypass Canal, which is part of a longer project running through mid-December, and the area from SR 574 (MLK Jr. Blvd.) to Fowler Avenue, with work scheduled to continue through December 23.
- I-275 (Howard Frankland Bridge): The bridge connecting Hillsborough and Pinellas counties will have lane closures nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. every night this week (Sunday, November 9 through Saturday, November 15).
Key Surface Street and Roadway Work
Several important US and State Roads will experience both day and night closures, affecting local commuters:
- US 301: This road sees a combination of nightly closures (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and daytime closures (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) between Whitt Road and Rivercrest Drive. Separate daytime closures (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) are also scheduled at Ayersworth Glen Boulevard.
- SR 60 (Adamo Drive): From US 41 to US 301, crews will be working both at night (8 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and during the day (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

- SR 674 (W Martin Luther Jr. Boulevard): Work at N 12th Street includes daytime closures (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and early night closures (7 p.m. to 12 a.m.).
