Hillsborough County, FL. – Demand was high at Hillsborough County’s two new COVID-19 test sites that opened today.
County officials anticipated administering 500 tests at each of the two testing locations, but in actuality, the County completed more than 2,000 tests total.
As a reminder, these sites are walk-in sites and the lines may prove to be long all week.
Residents should come prepared with water as the wait times may be lengthy. Rapid tests will be administered; PCR tests will be available upon request.
Face coverings will be required except during the brief time when the sampling is done.
Appointments are not needed. The sites are open seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

There is no charge to be tested. In accordance with federal guidelines, health insurance information will be collected; however, individuals who do not have health insurance will still be tested.
People being tested should bring a photo ID (driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport) with name and date of birth, as well as their health insurance card (if applicable).
