TAMPA, Fla. – Former Hillsborough County Sheriff Deputy Charles Boswell challenged incumbent Sheriff Chad Chronister for his seat in the primary election Tuesday.
With only 1,300 mail-in votes left to count, Chronister has almost a 22,000 vote lead and will move on to face Democratic Candidate Gary Pruitt and NPA Ron McMullen in the November general election.
