TAMPA, Fla. – One man was killed overnight in a shooting that happened just after 11 PM.
Tampa Police were dispatched to the report of shots heard in the 900 block of E. Annie Street. Officers arrived to find an adult Hispanic male in his early 20’s, deceased as the result of an apparent gunshot wound.
Presently there is a suspect being detained and this is not a random act.
Detectives are working to determine what occurred at the scene and what charges may be applicable in this case.
Police say that it is very early in the investigation, information remains fluid, and updates will be provided when they become available.
