POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man has been arrested after he was caught on video ‘prowling and peeping’ in on a 17-year-old girl. His name is Santos Pantoja from Orange County.
On May 24th, an Auburndale woman noticed a suspicious truck driving around her neighborhood off of CR 559. Then she thought she saw the man surreptitiously looking into her windows. When she went outside to confront him, he drove away in his truck.
Deputies say that on May 28th, Santos struck again at the same house and this time, his sneaking and peeping was caught on surveillance video.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd gives the details, as only Grady can do:
The woman saw the company logo on the truck and reached out to them. They confirmed with GPS that Santos was in her neighborhood, despite having no jobs to do there.
Investigators say a neighbor even confronted Santos by the woman’s home and he told the neighbor that he was looking for his own daughter who was missing.
The Sheriff’s office was contacted, and arrested, and charged Santos with Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Stalking, and Voyeurism.
