TAMPA, Fla. – With the holidays approaching, Hillsborough County is rolling out additional support for residents looking to keep their pantries stocked. Health Care Services officials announced they are teaming up with Feeding Tampa Bay to host three separate grocery giveaways this week.

The events are part of the county’s Healthy Living Program, which ramps up its efforts in December to meet end-of-year needs. While the program typically holds monthly events, they have added extra dates specifically for the holiday season.

According to county officials, there is no red tape for those who want to attend. There are no income restrictions or qualifications required to receive a food package.
