HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office remains on scene along the 1900 block of Sparkman Road, where an active investigation is taking place.
At approximately 7:55 am on December 28, 2020, HCSO responded to a subject who barricaded himself into a home on Sparkman Road. To secure those living in the nearby area, residents have been evacuated from their homes. At this time, it is believed that the barricaded subject is alone in the residence.
Sparkman Road is still shut down between Jap Tucker Road and Clemons Road. Media heading to the scene is asked to stage near the corner of Sparkman Road and Clemons Road.
