Hong Kong Disneyland Closes Again, Orlando Disneyworld Open

ORLANDO, Fla. -One month after reopening, Hong Kong Disneyland will temporarily close beginning to comply with the Hong Kong government’s social distancing rules and a rise in COVID-19 cases in the area.

A Disney spokesperson said, “As required by the government and health authorities in line with prevention efforts taking place across Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland park will temporarily close from July 15. The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotels will remain open with adjusted levels of services. They have put in place enhanced health and safety measures that reflect the guidance of health and government authorities, such as social distancing measures and increased cleaning and sanitation.”

Disneyworld in Orlando opened on July 11th, with the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with CDC guidelines, masks, and sanitizing areas in place. Masks must hook behind the ears and hand sanitizer is giving to each guest getting on a ride.
