Campus Briefly Placed on Controlled Status as Precaution; Thorough Search Finds No Threat
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Hudson High School resumed normal operations today after the campus was placed on temporary controlled status following a report of suspicious persons.
School officials initiated the controlled campus status—a measure designed to ensure the safety of students and staff while an investigation takes place—after the report was received.
Immediately following the report, a comprehensive search of the entire school campus was conducted by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities confirmed that no suspicious persons or vehicles were located on the premises.
The controlled campus status was lifted, and students and staff returned to their normal daily schedule without further incident.
