Hunt For ‘Worm’: Pasco Deputies Seek Man In Lacoochee Shooting

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are actively searching for Anderson Blaine Jr., 30, also known by the nickname “Worm,” in connection with a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Lacoochee.

Blaine is wanted on warrants for attempted murder, aggravated battery, and felon in possession of a firearm following the incident on October 19, which took place around 6:40 a.m. in the area of Blanchette Court.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office initially responded to reports of a shooting at the location. An adult man and an adult woman were found to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, identified as Blaine, had fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

According to initial information released by the Sheriff’s Office, the shooting is believed to have resulted from an altercation between the suspect and his neighbors. Authorities have characterized the event as an isolated incident.
