A North Carolina man is being held without bond this weekend following his arrest on serious charges involving the kidnapping and assault of his girlfriend.
Authorities took Jackson Bello into custody after warrants detailed a violent altercation. According to court documents obtained by WITN, Bello is accused of forcibly confining the woman and removing her “from one place to another” against her will.
Investigators say the situation turned physical, with warrants alleging Bello struck the woman multiple times. The documents describe him punching, grabbing, and throwing the victim during the incident.
Beyond the physical assault, the warrants indicate Bello made explicit threats against the woman’s life, allegedly telling her, “I will kill you,” while threatening to beat her.

Bello is now facing multiple charges, including first-degree kidnapping, assault on a female, communicating threats, and a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
He remains in custody at the Pitt County Detention Center. A judge has denied bond, and Bello is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday.
