TAMPA, Fla. – Bryan Hodgson’s Bulls head into Sunday’s matchup at FAU (2 p.m./ESPN2) having won three straight and six of seven to vault to the top of American.

Hodgson’s first season at USF (17-8/9-3 American) has been a very entertaining one, especially for the green and gold fandom that has visited the Yuengling Center where the Bulls are 10-2.

Here is a look at some of the impressive team and individual numbers the 2025-26 Bulls have compiled.

1 – The Bulls are No. 1 in the American in seven statistical categories, including the triple crown of scoring (89.0), rebounds (42.6) and assists (17.4).

5 – Categories the Bulls are top 10 nationally: free throws made/attempts (both No. 1), offensive rebounds (third), total rebounds (fifth) and scoring (10th).

5 – Combined points of USF’s three conference defeats, two of which were in overtime.

5.2 – C.J. Brown’s assists per game, good for the conference co-lead with UAB’s Chance Westry.

9.8 – Izaiyah Nelson’s conference-leading rebounds per game.

16 – Double doubles by Nelson, a figure that is tied for second nationally behind Kent State’s Delrecco Gillespie, who has 19.

16.3 – Nelson’s team leading scoring average, which is good for seventh in the American.

21.0 – Free throws made per game, which leads the nation.

28.6 – Free throw attempts per game, which leads the nation.

30 – Consecutive games the Bulls have had at least five steals. That is the fourth-longest active streak in Division I.

35.9 – Wes Enis’ 3-point percentage, which is fifth in the American.

38.9 – Joseph Pinnion’s 3-point percentage, which is fourth in the American.

60.5 – Izaiyah Nelson’s conference leading field goal percentage.

73.4 – The team’s free throw percentage, which is 148th nationally.

83.3 – Program record for scoring in a season (1971-72), which the Bulls are on pace (89.0) to eclipse.

100 – Thursday’s home game versus Memphis (7 p.m./ESPN2) will be Bryan Hodgson’s 100th as a head coach.
