PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – The Pinellas Park Police Department has launched a death investigation following a discovery Wednesday afternoon in an industrial area of the city.
Officers responded to the 4700 block of 110th Avenue North at approximately 3:51 PM. Upon arrival, authorities secured the scene to begin an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The department has not yet released the identity of the deceased or the specific cause of death. While the investigation remains active, officials stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Traffic in the immediate vicinity of 110th Avenue North was restricted for several hours to allow for the processing of the scene.
No further details have been provided by law enforcement at this time.
