SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old Jacksonville man hauling pallets overturned his tractor-trailer on Interstate 75 early Wednesday morning, leading to a full closure of the northbound lanes.

The tractor-trailer flipped onto its side and came to a rest across the highway, blocking all northbound traffic.

Despite the vehicle overturning, the driver suffered only minor injuries. Emergency responders evaluated the Jacksonville man at the scene, but he did not require transportation to a hospital. Recovery crews worked through the morning to remove the pallets and the disabled truck from the roadway.
