Missing Florida Teen Adriana Hernandez Located Safe, Amber Alert Canceled

Adriana Hernandez has been located and is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The Amber Alert has been canceled.

ORIGINAL REPORT: A search is underway this morning after Florida authorities upgraded the disappearance of 15-year-old Adriana Hernandez to a statewide AMBER Alert. Adriana was last seen in the 6400 block of Bruce Lane in Milton, Florida, but investigators now believe the search may cross state lines.

Local law enforcement elevated the case to an AMBER Alert status following new developments in an ongoing investigation.

Officials describe Adriana as a white-Hispanic female, standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair, though police noted her hair may currently have a distinctive reddish-brown tint.

While she was last spotted in the Florida Panhandle, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement indicated that she may have traveled into Georgia.

No information regarding a potential vehicle or suspect has been released at this time, but the upgrade to an AMBER Alert signals that authorities believe the teen is in “imminent danger.”

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and is asking for the public’s help to bring her home.

“If you have any information on the whereabouts of this child please contact the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office at 850-983-1190 or 911,” officials stated in the emergency release.

Anyone who thinks they see Adriana or has any tips regarding her location should call 911 immediately.
