LAKELAND, Fla. — Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of stealing specialty cocktail mixers from a local liquor store last month.
Deputies said the retail theft happened around 5:45 p.m. on July 25 at Jay’s Liquor, located at 2620 US Highway 92 East in Lakeland.
According to investigators, a female suspect entered the business and walked out with a bottle of Filthy Black Cherry and a bottle of simple syrup without paying for the items.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has released security footage images of the woman in hopes that someone in the community recognizes her.
