Lakeland Man Who Strangled Victim Is Polk County Sheriff’s “Warrant Of The Day”

LAKELAND, FL. – Polk County Sheriff’s Office said that a Lakeland man has landed as the Warrant Of The Day.

42-year-old Joseph Carroll, recently of Winter Lake Road in Lakeland, has Polk County warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery domestic violence, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

On Tuesday, March 22nd, between 6-7 p.m. deputies responded to Carroll’s home after he battered & strangled the victim and fled in his Chevy Silverado.

Deputies found his truck abandoned in the Dairy Queen parking lot at US Hwy 98 and Clubhouse Road, but Carroll was gone. They obtained warrants for his arrest, and we need your help to find him before he hurts anyone else.

“If you know where we can find this suspect who is Ducking Grady please call us at 863-298-6200 and reference case number 22-12324. Do not approach him – he is considered violent and dangerous,” said Polk County Sheriff’s Office in a social post.
