POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 33-year-old registered sex offender was arrested in Lakeland on Wednesday evening after law enforcement officers discovered multiple violations of his parole conditions during a routine home check.
Casey Lee Breaker was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m. on July 29 at a residence on Everett Street. The compliance visit was jointly conducted by a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy and an officer from the Florida Department of Corrections Probation & Parole.
Breaker is currently on felony parole following an 11-year Kentucky state prison sentence for sexual battery involving a victim between the ages of 12 and 17. Following his release on parole in 2022, he transferred his court-ordered supervision to Florida in February 2026.
Under the specific conditions of his felony parole, Breaker is prohibited from accessing the internet. However, authorities reported that during Wednesday’s search, officers discovered Breaker had active internet access, an unregistered email address, a YouTube account, and the Discord application.
Breaker was arrested at the scene for violating his parole terms and transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center.
In a statement following the arrest, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said, “We’re not sure why a registered sex offender would leave Kentucky to live in Polk County, Florida and then choose to violate the rules of his probation. Casey Lee picked a county where thorough and frequent checks are done on sex offenders, and here we are.”
