LAKELAND, Fla. — A 40-year-old Lakeland woman was arrested Monday morning after deputies served an outstanding warrant and later discovered methamphetamine hidden on her person during the intake process, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Mary Raulerson was taken into custody at approximately 8:24 a.m. on August 3, 2026, at a residence on Doc Gay Road in Lakeland. Deputies located Raulerson to execute an arrest warrant issued after she allegedly violated the conditions of her probation.
Records show Raulerson was on probation following previous arrests for battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, and methamphetamine possession.
Deputies say her prior arrest history in the county also includes charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving, burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and marijuana possession.
Following her arrest on Doc Gay Road, deputies searched Raulerson, placed her into a patrol vehicle, and transported her to the Sheriff’s Processing Center for formal booking on the warrant.
During the intake process at the processing facility, detention officers reported that a baggie containing methamphetamine fell from beneath Raulerson’s right breast.
In addition to the probation violation warrant, Raulerson now faces new charges of third-degree felony possession of methamphetamine, first-degree misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and first-degree misdemeanor introduction of contraband into a detention facility.
