TAMPA, Fla. – Beginning at 9 am on Monday, the northbound lane on North Nebraska Avenue will close between East Oak Avenue and East 7th Avenue while the Tampa Water Department returns to complete restoration following earlier work on the water distribution system.
The northbound traffic will be shifted into the turning lane. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow.
“Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work,” said Tampa Water Department.
Restoration with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected to be completed by 5 pm, Tuesday, June 7. Restoration schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
