CLEARWATER, Fla. – A late-night shooting at a local sports lounge has left two men hospitalized and prompted an ongoing criminal investigation, according to Clearwater Police detectives.
The incident took place just after midnight on Monday morning at the 45 Sports Bar and Lounge, located at 1409 Cleveland Street.
First responders located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both individuals were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment. Authorities confirmed that one victim was taken to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, while the second victim was transported across the bay to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa.
Clearwater Police have not released the identities or current medical conditions of the two men, and no details regarding a suspect or potential motive have been made public.
Detectives remain on the scene as the active investigation continues.
