DAVENPORT, Fla. — A routine traffic stop late Saturday night took a turn when Polk County deputies discovered the driver was the subject of an active warrant out of Osceola County.
At approximately 11:40 p.m. on Jan. 17, deputies pulled over a white Ford Fusion near the intersection of US 27 and Central Grove Road in Davenport. The driver was identified as 28-year-old Joshua Parrilla of Kissimmee.
During the course of the stop, a check of Parrilla’s information revealed he was wanted on multiple charges in the neighboring county. The warrant cited charges of robbery, petit theft, and battery.

Following the discovery, deputies took Parrilla into custody without further incident. He was transported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Processing Center to be booked on the outstanding warrant.
