WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — A tense situation in the Healing Way area has been resolved without incident. Operations at a local medical facility have returned to normal following an exhaustive police search sparked by an anonymous bomb threat earlier today.

Deputies with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office (PSO) descended on the scene shortly after the threat was received, moving quickly to coordinate with facility administrators.

In an abundance of caution, the building was immediately placed on lockdown, halting all activity while law enforcement worked to ensure the safety of staff, patients, and residents inside.

Teams conducted a thorough sweep of the premises, looking for any evidence to substantiate the anonymous claim.

According to an update from the Sheriff’s Office, the threat has been deemed unfounded. Investigators found no credible danger to the facility or the surrounding area. With the search complete and the building declared safe, the lockdown has been lifted, and the facility has resumed its standard daily operations.
