PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 21-year-old Madeira Beach man was killed is a motorcycle crash that happened on Sunday around 3:50 pm.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling westbound on CR-578, near Starbright Drive, when he lost control of the motorcycle.
Troopers say the motorcycle departed the roadway, struck a mailbox, and traveled through an embankment at which point the rider separated from the motorcycle.
Investigators say the man was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
