LARGO, FL. – On Tuesday, police say a road rage incident ensued between two vehicles traveling along Roosevelt Boulevard in Largo.
Investigators say the victim continues to his destination, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and purchases a smoothie.
When he exits the store, the victim finds the other half of the road rage incident prepared to confront him.
A juvenile female begins screaming at him and then spits on the man. The victim defends himself by dumping the smoothie on her and she spits on him again.
The driver of the car, Andrew Armer, 25, decides to exit the vehicle and stabs the victim in the neck, causing a two-inch laceration on his neck. The victim stumbles back into the business and collapses at the front counter.
The subjects attempt to flee the area in a vehicle; however, two Largo Police Officers were across Roosevelt Boulevard and heard the disturbance.
They were quickly able to stop the subject’s vehicle, detain all subjects and backup officers began immediate first aid to the victim.
The victim was transported to Bayfront Medical Center where, as of this writing, he is in stable condition.
