Police in Texas have arrested and charged a man with capital murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman and her young child.
Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29, has been charged with capital murder after police discovered the bodies of a 28-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child in an apartment on Richmond Avenue in Houston.
Officers were alerted to the situation by a concerned citizen who reported a possible hostage situation in the apartment. Upon arrival, officers found Fisher asleep on the couch. A subsequent search of the apartment revealed the bodies of the woman and child, both suffering from multiple stab wounds.
