HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A man was killed Saturday night, while crossing Interstate 4, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say a car was traveling westbound on I-4, west of milepost 21, in the inside lane, and a man was walking southbound across the interstate.
FHP says the man entered the path of the car and was struck by the vehicle. The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene
of the crash according to Troopers.
The driver of the car, a 43-year-old woman from Palm Harbor, and her passengers received minor to no injuries.
The man that was struck, has not yet been identified by investigators.
