Man With Skull Mask Breaks Into New Port Richey Home, Killing Woman In Front Of Children

A woman was killed overnight after a man with a skull mask broke into a home and shot a woman who was laying with two young children.

PASCO COUNTY, Fla – A woman was killed overnight after a man with a skull mask broke into a home and shot a woman who was laying with two young children.

Pasco Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a shooting that happened on Tuesday around 12:40 a.m. in the Menifee Ct. area of New Port Richey.

According to Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco, a man with a skull mask broke into a home and pointed a gun at a woman who was sleeping on the couch.

Nocco said the masked man moved on to a bedroom where another woman was sleeping with two young children.

Investigators say the suspect turned on a light in the room. The woman woke up and told the man “don’t shoot me.”

The suspect then shot the victim once.

The woman fell onto the floor after being shot, and the suspect shot the woman once more.

The suspect then ran from the home, where it was believed that he got into a car. The victim later died at a hospital as a result of the shooting.

“It appears the suspect knew the layout of this house, he directly targeted the individual. It seems like he knew exactly who he was going for, and he fled the scene,” Nocco said.

The suspect is described as an adult male, with a large build, around 5’10”, and wearing a black skull mask.

The investigation will continue and PSO urges those with information to submit tips to the PSO Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-2488 or report tips online at PascoSheriff.com/tips.
