TAMPA, FL. – A man’s body has been discovered in the Hillsborough River, according to police.
Around 2:30 pm today, police received a report of a body seen floating in the Hillsborough River near the 6600 block of N. Riviera Manor Dr.
The Tampa Police Department Marine Unit located and recovered a deceased adult man from the water just before 4 pm.
Preliminary findings do not indicate foul play, but the results of the medical examiner’s report are pending. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
