PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A Largo man is behind bars today after a reported sexual assault at a Pinellas Park massage parlor led to a police pursuit and a car crash. Adreon Javon Grant, 40, was arrested early Friday morning and faces multiple felony charges following the incident at Pure & Wellness Massage.
The situation began around 9 p.m. on April 9 when officers were called to the business located at 8831 49th Street N. According to investigators, Grant entered the spa and requested a massage.
During the session, police say he sexually battered the victim. Before fleeing the scene in a vehicle, Grant allegedly stole items he thought might identify him and tried to stop the victim from calling 911.
Detectives worked through the night to identify Grant as the primary suspect. In an unusual turn of events, Grant reportedly drove past the massage parlor again more than six hours after the initial attack. Officers spotted his vehicle and immediately moved in to make an arrest.

The encounter ended when Grant crashed his car into a tree while attempting to evade officers. He was not injured in the collision and was taken into custody without further incident.
Grant has been booked into the Pinellas County Jail and is currently charged with sexual battery and tampering with a witness.
Law enforcement officials confirmed the investigation remains active as they continue to process evidence from the scene and the vehicle.
