TAMPA, Fla. – For the sixth year in a row, the Tampa Bay Lightning are in the NHL Playoffs. Mayor Jane Castor and the Lightning are celebrating with a banner drop at Tampa City Hall on Monday, April 17 at 12:00 p.m.

The group will ascend to the top of City Hall in a Tampa Fire Rescue bucket truck and unveil a “Go Bolts!” banner in support of the team as they look to hoist their fourth Stanley Cup in the team’s 30 year history.

“Our team and organization have worked incredibly hard this season, and we are thrilled to once again be heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs,” Vinik Sports Group Chief Operating Officer Mark Pitts said. “As we chase another Cup, we need the support of all of Bolts Nation in Tampa Bay and beyond. We can’t wait for the puck to drop and would like to thank Mayor Castor and everyone at the City of Tampa for being such great partners. Go Bolts!”
