The long arm of the law has finally caught up with a DeFuniak Springs man after a year-long deep dive by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office VICE/Narcotics Unit, resulting in a significant haul of over 300 grams of methamphetamine and serious trafficking charges.

Henry Allen Glenn, 47, a familiar face to local law enforcement with a criminal history stretching back to 1997, found himself behind bars on June 28th.

He’s now staring down two counts of trafficking methamphetamine and an additional charge for using a two-way communication device in the commission of a felony – a modern twist on an old tale.

The extensive investigation, which kicked off in July of last year, culminated in Glenn’s arrest and booking into the Walton County Jail. Despite the severity of the charges and the considerable amount of drugs seized, Glenn has since been released on a hefty $100,000 bond.

However, the story might not be over for Mr. Glenn.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office indicates that additional charges could be forthcoming as the investigation continues. For a man whose rap sheet reads like a history of drug-related offenses, this latest chapter proves that even with a long track record, the game is far from over.
