Midnight Bloodshed In Colorado: Teen Son Kills Parents’ In Double Murder, Suicide

Police in Colorado are piecing together a late-night tragedy that left three family members dead across two different crime scenes on April 4. Authorities now believe a 19-year-old man gunned down both of his parents before turning the weapon on himself just hours later.

The violence began shortly after 1:00 a.m. on the 1200 block of E. 4th Street. ShotSpotter technology first alerted dispatchers to multiple rounds being fired, followed quickly by a 911 call from the area.

When officers arrived, they found a grim scene: 40-year-old Glenn Allen Beeman Jr. and 41-year-old Amanda Leigh Manion were both dead. One victim was discovered lying in the roadway, while the other was found inside a nearby vehicle.

As investigators shut down the street, a second call came in from Pueblo West. Deputies were responding to reports of a suicide. The male found at that scene was identified as 19-year-old Glenn Allen Beeman III.

Detectives soon linked the two incidents, identifying the younger Beeman as the son of the couple killed on E. 4th Street. Investigators stated they believe the teenager killed both parents before fleeing to Pueblo West to take his own life.

While a specific motive has not been released, family members told police that the parents were estranged at the time of the shooting.

The Pueblo Police Department confirmed the investigation is still active as they work to map out the final hours leading up to the gunfire.
