Midnight Gunfire In St. Petersburg Leaves Young Man Hospitalized

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A late-night shooting in the 2800 block of Emerson Avenue South has left a young man hospitalized. Officers found the victim with a gunshot wound just before midnight, and he is currently in stable condition while the investigation continues.

Officers rushed to the 2800-block of Emerson Avenue South just before midnight following reports of a shooting.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered a young man who had been shot. Emergency crews quickly moved the victim to Orlando Health Bayfront, where medical staff treated his injuries. Authorities report that he survived the initial trauma and is currently in stable condition.
