Midnight Lakeland Corona Run Ends In Polk County Sheriff Searching For White Pickup

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A late-night beer run turned into a criminal investigation early last Sunday morning at a Circle K in Southwest Lakeland. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for two young men involved in a retail theft that took place at the 6340 Coronet Street location.

According to investigators, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on March 15. Authorities say two male suspects entered the store, grabbed two cases of Corona beer, and left without paying. The pair was seen fleeing the parking lot in a white pickup truck.

Deputies have described both suspects as Hispanic males between the ages of 18 and 25.
