POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County deputies arrested a 40-year-old Winter Haven man early Monday morning following a targeted traffic stop on the Polk Parkway.
The suspect, Anthony Trevor Rose, was wanted by the Winter Haven Police Department on a felony battery charge. According to law enforcement records, Rose was accused of pushing, kicking, and spitting on a woman prior to his arrest.
Deputies spotted Rose’s vehicle, a 2013 Toyota Camry, just after midnight on June 1, 2026, as it traveled along the Polk Parkway near Winter Lake Road. Law enforcement personnel initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and took Rose into custody without incident.
Following the arrest, Rose was transported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Processing Center, where he was booked on the felony battery charge.
A review of Rose’s criminal history reveals multiple prior charges, including aggravated battery, domestic battery, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting law enforcement officer without violence.
