The National Women In Agriculture Association is hosting the 1st ever Veteran Women in Agriculture Conference in the United States.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. – The National Women In Agriculture Association is hosting the 1st ever Veteran Women in Agriculture Conference in the United States.

This is the first of its kind and it is a national event, with the event taking place on the 6th and 7th of July 2022, from 8 am to 5 pm on both days.

It will be held at our headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma which is located at 1701 N MLK Ave. Attendance can be either in person or virtually,” said Director, Dr.Tammy Gray Steele.

This conference will cover USDA/FSA loan and USDA grant resources as well as farm enhancement resources from Stakeholder Partners.

It will also have an emphasis on resources for veterans wherever agriculture is concerned as well as women, children’s equality and inclusion rights.

The National Women In Agriculture Association is hosting the 1st ever Veteran Women in Agriculture Conference in the United States.

“We will also cover mental and physical health resources. There will be hands-on agricultural and technical support training,” said Steele.

Attendees will also get a chance to tour farms and take part in an educational experience involving hands-on training with farm animals.

This event is FREE and open to the public through registration at nwiaa.org. All Exhibit Booth Vendors, Sponsors, and interested parties are encouraged to register.

National Women In Agriculture is also interested in sponsoring women veteran farmers who are interested in attending the conference.
