WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Tammy Barton has been located and is safe, according to the Winter Haven Police Department.
ORIGINAL REPORT: Winter Haven Police have turned to the community for assistance in locating a missing local resident, Tammy Barton, who disappeared earlier this evening.
According to authorities, Barton was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. today on Hogan Lane, located within the Lake Ashton neighborhood. Officials noted that she left the area without a mobile phone in her possession, complicating efforts to track her location.
Barton is described as wearing a white shirt with green trim paired with green shorts.
“If you know of Tammy’s whereabouts, please call 911 immediately,” the Winter Haven Police Department stated in an urgent release to the public.
Law enforcement officials are asking residents in the Lake Ashton area to check their surroundings and security footage. Anyone who spots Barton or has information about her current location should not hesitate to contact emergency services immediately.
