POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 35-year-old Mulberry woman wanted on outstanding warrants in two counties was taken into custody Tuesday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Amber Alexis Watson-Restrepo on Aug. 25, 2026, at a home along Sabel Lane in Mulberry. The agency reported that the arrest occurred without incident, and Watson-Restrepo was booked into the Sheriff’s Processing Center.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Hillsborough County authorities reached out earlier in the day seeking assistance to locate Watson-Restrepo. At the time, Hillsborough County held active warrants for her arrest on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and failure to appear for driving without a valid license.
During the investigation, deputies discovered Watson-Restrepo also faced active warrants in Polk County. Her local charges included failure to appear for weekend work release related to providing a false name to law enforcement, along with failure to appear for driving with no motor vehicle registration.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Watson-Restrepo’s prior criminal history includes grand theft, uttering forged instruments, aggravated assault, providing a false name to law enforcement, criminal traffic violations, and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
