HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A month-long investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) culminated in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a significant cache of drugs, cash, and a stolen firearm.

The HCSO’s District 4 Street Crimes Unit and the Gang Unit concluded their collaborative effort on October 21, 2025, by executing a court-authorized search warrant at a residence on the 200 block of West College Avenue in Ruskin.

Contraband Seized

During the search, deputies recovered a substantial amount of contraband, including:

  • 59 grams of cocaine
  • Alprazolam (a prescription sedative)
  • Cannabis and cannabis sativa resin
  • Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia
  • A quantity of 9mm and .40 caliber ammunition
  • A stolen Smith & Wesson handgun from Hillsborough County
  • $5,460 in U.S. currency

Arrests Made

Two men were taken into custody as a result of the operation:

The HCSO stated that the successful operation “makes certain that those who endanger others, along with illegal drugs and firearms, are taken off our streets.”
