POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An early morning patrol led to the apprehension of a multi-county fugitive in Lakeland on Monday.

Polk County Deputy Sheriff Annucci was on duty in the early morning hours when she received a tip that a wanted person might be at a residence on Lakewood Circle.

The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Mikhail Sabroche, who was wanted on multiple active warrants from across Florida. Sabroche was successfully located and taken into custody by Deputy Annucci at the Lakeland residence.

Sabroche’s legal troubles span both southeast and northwest Florida. He had an active warrant out of Broward County (in the Fort Lauderdale area) for Burglary of a Dwelling and Grand Theft. Simultaneously, he was wanted in Citrus County (in the Inverness area) for Violation of Probation stemming from an original charge of Battery on a Detained Person.

Given the active warrants, Sabroche was transported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Processing Center in Bartow without incident for formal booking.
